• Being cold
• $18 margaritas
• Paying for parking

Things separate from people I thought I wouldn’t miss about living in Australia but I do:

• Spinach
• People hugging hello
• The unnecessary importance of intra-regional slang (they are hair lackeys, not hair ties; West Australians are TOTALLY different from all other Australians, right?)

Things mostly separate from people I thought I’d miss about living in Australia but I don’t (yet):

• Feeling pretty
• Soft cheese
• The doben I had just before I left
